Over £700 raised by our Movember team!Posted on: 1 Dec 2011Posted by: David ScottWell done to the Jersey Ishinryu Movember team! Over £700 has been raised by their whiskers, which will now be put towards (the money, not their whiskers) finding cures for Men's cancer and other health problems. Paul McNamee wins bronze at the 2011 EKF ChampionshipsPosted on: 26 Apr 2011Posted by: David ScottOn 16th and 17th of April 2011, the English Karate Federation National Championships were held in Sheffield. The EKF championships are open to all forms of karate taught in England however Ishinryu bagged a staggering 22 medals with every member of the English squad picking up a medal. But most importantly, Jersey's very own chief instructor Paul McNamee was awarded a well earned bronze in the veteran's kata. Paul was very pleased with his award but was quick to point out that he will be winning the gold next year!
